Walt Disney World has just updated its Annual Passholder access policy, and the change is effective immediately. Disney has added two brand-new "good to go" days to the September 2026 calendar, giving Passholders even more chances to visit without needing a theme park reservation.
The newly designated dates are Tuesday, September 8, and Thursday, September 10. On both days, eligible Annual Passholders can walk right into any of Walt Disney World's four theme parks — no advance reservation required.
What Are 'Good to Go' Days?
Disney introduced "good to go" days as a way to ease reservation requirements for Annual Passholders on select dates. Rather than having to plan ahead and lock in a specific park, Passholders can simply show up on these designated days without booking in advance.
One of the best parts of this latest update? It applies across all four Annual Passholder tiers — not just the more premium options. That means Passholders who are eligible to visit on those dates can head to Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, Disney's Hollywood Studios, or Disney's Animal Kingdom without any prior reservation. Just keep in mind that standard blockout dates still apply depending on the type of pass you hold.
Disney Has Already Offered Good to Go Days This Month
September 8 and September 10 aren't the first reservation-free dates Disney has offered this month. September 2 and September 3 were previously designated as good to go days, bringing the total to four such dates in the opening stretch of September alone.
What makes this particularly exciting for spontaneous planners is that Disney can add good to go days relatively close to the actual date. A day that currently requires a reservation could potentially become a good to go day later — so it's worth keeping an eye on the Annual Passholder calendar even if a date initially looks like it requires advance planning. Disney has also indicated it will continue adding good to go days to the calendar.
What This Means for Annual Passholders
Theme park reservations haven't disappeared entirely for Walt Disney World Annual Passholders, but Disney continues to create exceptions that make spontaneous visits much easier. Good to go days are one of the biggest examples of that flexibility in action.
For local Passholders especially, this system makes it simple to decide on the morning — or even later in the day — to head to Disney World without stressing over reservation availability. This week in particular, Passholders have two reservation-free dates within just three days of each other.
As of September 7, September 8 and September 10 are officially Disney's newest good to go days. If you're planning visits later in the month, keep checking Disney's calendar — more dates could still be on the way.
