Marvel Contest of Champions is swinging into the Summer of Spider-Man with a packed July update, adding new champions, a limited-time event quest, a motion comic, and a generous giveaway for new players.
Two New Champions Join the Battlerealm
Marvel Contest of Champions is a mobile fighting game from Kabam that brings together heroes and villains from across the Marvel Universe. Players collect Champions, build teams, and battle through story quests, limited-time events, and competitive modes set within the Battlerealm — a cosmic arena where characters from different timelines, realities, and franchises clash.
Two new faces are arriving on the roster this month:
- Hobgoblin (Phil Urich) — Available beginning July 16, this version of the character is specifically Phil Urich, who discovers the Goblin legacy connected to his family and becomes a new Hobgoblin armed with a glider, pumpkin bombs, and razor bats.
- Black Tarantula — Joining the roster on July 30, Carlos LaMuerte is a crime lord tied to Spider-Man's street-level corner of the Marvel Universe.
