Disney has developed something of an obsession with revisiting its classics — and now, one of EPCOT's most beloved opening-day attractions is officially next in line.

During the Horizons: Disney Experiences Showcase presentation at D23 on Saturday, August 15, 2026, Disney confirmed that Spaceship Earth will undergo a major concept reimagining. For an attraction that has stood at the entrance of EPCOT since the park opened 43 years ago, this is far more than a routine refurbishment.

D23 returned to Anaheim, California, from August 14 through August 16, 2026, bringing Disney's biggest fan event back with presentations covering movies, television, theme parks, and more.
