The second edition of the Witch & Poison Apple mug has arrived at Disney California Adventure for spooky season, and it comes paired with a seasonal Poison Apple-tini cocktail. Here's what you need to know before you head to Carthay Circle Lounge!
Poison Apple-tini (with Witch & Poison Apple Mug) — $125
Crown Royal Apple Whisky, Pucker Sour Apple schnapps, cranberry juice, Angostura bitters, garnished with a Luxardo maraschino cherry
The apple aroma hits you immediately, so the drink is already delivering on its promised flavor profile. It's smooth — no real alcohol burn or bite — yet it doesn't tip over into being overly sweet. Fair warning: the apple flavor leans more artificial, so if that's not your thing, take note. Cranberry comes in as a strong second note, adding a welcome tartness to balance things out.
The Luxardo cherry brings a slight medicinal quality, but it actually works here, helping to balance the apple and cranberry. Overall, it's a nice, solid seasonal cocktail — though not a particularly impressive one. If you enjoy artificial apple flavor, you'll have a good time with it. But let's be honest: you're really ordering this for the mug.

The Real Star: The Second-Edition Witch & Poison Apple Mug
The high price tag makes a lot more sense once you see what you're taking home. The mug resembles a carved wood sculpture of the Evil Queen in her Old Hag form, complete with a raven on her back. She holds out a poison apple cup, which is removable for use.
The first edition was released last year, featuring a red apple with white "poison." This year's version swaps that out for green "poison" on the apple. It's worth noting that a version of the mug with a green metallic apple was also released exclusively aboard the Disney Adventure cruise ship earlier this year.
Our reporter placed a votive candle inside the apple to give a sense of its capacity.
Where and When to Find It
