Plaza Inn has earned its reputation as one of Disneyland's most special dining experiences for good reason. It's the most affordable character dining option at Disneyland Park, it routinely features seven or eight characters at a single meal, and the variety of friends who rotate through goes well beyond the usual suspects. Minnie Mouse serves as the guaranteed hostess, while guests have been delighted by surprise appearances from Winnie the Pooh, Tigger, Pluto, Chip and Dale, Suzy and Perla from Cinderella, Daisy, Piglet, Rabbit, and others. No other character dining location at Disneyland comes close to that range in a single sitting.

The buffet itself is a big part of the appeal. Minnie waffles, a made-to-order omelet station, fried chicken with biscuits and gravy, and the bananas foster waffle topping have all developed a genuine following among Disney food fans. At $55 for adults and $33 for children ages 3 to 9, it's the entry-level option for character dining at the park — and it delivers a full buffet experience with multiple character interactions at the table.

All of that is temporarily unavailable starting August 10.
