Peter Pan and some of his adventurous friends have quietly disappeared from the daytime parade at Disneyland Paris Resort — and the resort hasn't said a word about it. Effective August 24, the iconic Peter Pan (1953) float was nowhere to be seen during Disney Stars on Parade, leaving fans puzzled and wondering when — or whether — it will return.

What Happened to the Peter Pan Float?

On Monday, X (formerly Twitter) user @PixiedustDLP shared photos from Disney Stars on Parade at Disneyland Paris, revealing that the crescent moon-shaped Peter Pan float had failed to appear in its usual spot — right before the replica of Skull Rock featuring Captain Hook and Smee.

The moon-shaped float made its debut at Disneyland Park (Paris) alongside the rest of Disney Stars on Parade back in March 2017. It features some intricate mechanisms, including a swinging ship-shaped platform on which Peter Pan and another Lost Boy stand — which may offer a clue as to why it could need occasional maintenance.

No Word from Disneyland Paris

Disneyland Paris Resort has not publicly acknowledged the float's absence, and it remains unclear whether this is a temporary removal for necessary maintenance or a permanent change to the parade lineup. Disney Stars on Parade continues to perform once a day at Disneyland Park (Paris).

This news comes just weeks after Disneyland Resort stateside quietly closed Pixie Hollow — the meet-and-greet location for Peter Pan's dearest friend, Tinker Bell — though that character encounter has since reopened in modified form as refurbishment efforts continue.

Where Can You Still Find Peter Pan?

For now, European theme park guests aren't completely without the Boy Who Wouldn't Grow Up. Peter Pan can still be found aboard the beloved Peter Pan's Flight attraction in Fantasyland, and the character can also be spotted roaming Disneyland Park alongside Wendy.
