Can you believe it? As of September 11, only three dates remain for guests hoping to experience Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party 2026 at Magic Kingdom — and the clock is ticking.
The Halloween Party Calendar Is Almost Gone
Of the 38 scheduled party nights in the 2026 season, 35 are no longer available for purchase. That means roughly 92% of the event calendar has been taken off sale, leaving just three reported openings: September 24, September 29, and October 25. Guests who once had the flexibility to choose from a wide range of September and October dates now have a dramatically narrowed set of options.
It's worth noting that this near-sellout applies specifically to the separately ticketed Halloween party — not to Magic Kingdom as a whole. Disney continues to operate Magic Kingdom as a daytime theme park, and a sold-out party night simply means tickets for that particular event are no longer available. Regular park operations remain a separate matter, and guests should check Disney's daily calendar for the hours attached to their specific visit.
What Are the Remaining Dates and Prices?
The three remaining reported dates each come with their own price point:
- September 24 — $174 per person
- September 29 — $184 per person
- October 25 — $224 per person
That's a $50 difference between the earliest and latest available dates, before tax. Disney's official event page confirms the 2026 season runs on select nights from August 7 through October 31, with tickets ranging from $119 to $229 plus tax depending on the date. Because availability can change, guests should confirm inventory directly through Disney before making any plans around the event.
A Sold-Out Party Is Not a Magic Kingdom Shutdown
This distinction is important for anyone planning a fall visit. Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is a hard-ticket event, not a multiweek closure of Magic Kingdom. On party dates, the event runs from 7 p.m. until midnight, and party ticket holders may enter Magic Kingdom beginning at 4 p.m. Guests without a party ticket can still enjoy regular daytime park hours — just be sure to verify the schedule for your specific visit date rather than assuming the park is unavailable.
What's Included With a Party Ticket?
For those lucky enough to snag one of the remaining dates, Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party offers a full evening of seasonal entertainment. Disney's official event page highlights a new 2026 offering featuring Stitch, Lilo, and Angel in an "ever-changing masquerade" in Tomorrowland, alongside returning party-exclusive experiences at Space Mountain, Mad Tea Party, and Monsters, Inc. Laugh Floor.
The 2026 season also introduced seven changes from previous years, giving returning guests some fresh experiences to look forward to. Mickey's Boo-to-You Halloween Parade has also seen updates since the season kicked off on August 7.
Eligible Annual Passholders and Disney Vacation Club members can save $10 per ticket on event nights through October 2, subject to Disney's eligibility rules.
Will the Last Three Dates Sell Out Too?
Disney warns on its event page that tickets are limited and may become unavailable on or before an event date, so none of the remaining inventory should be treated as guaranteed. If you've been on the fence, now is the time to decide.
Guests who miss out on the party entirely still have other ways to enjoy the Halloween season at Walt Disney World. Disney Springs, for example, has its own Halloween offerings that don't require a party ticket — a worthwhile seasonal option outside of Magic Kingdom.
The bottom line: the Halloween party itself is nearly sold out, but Magic Kingdom's regular operations are a separate story. If September 24, September 29, or October 25 works for your schedule, it's worth checking Disney's official event page sooner rather than later.
