This summer at Disney World has been, to put it mildly, interesting. Wait times haven't been what most of us were expecting, and while lower crowds are never something to complain about, the numbers have been genuinely puzzling. But nothing quite prepared us for what we saw on Sunday, July 5th.

Think about it: Fourth of July weekend had just wrapped up, meaning some families were heading home — but plenty of others likely made that weekend the start of their vacation. So imagine the surprise when we discovered that arguably the most popular park in all of Disney World didn't have a single wait time over an hour for the entire day. Not one. That's Magic Kingdom we're talking about.

Magic Kingdom: A Near-Perfect Day for Low Waits

It's been a long time since we've seen wait times this consistently low across the board at Magic Kingdom. The headliners — Peter Pan's Flight, Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, and TRON Lightcycle / Run — all tied at just 50 minutes as the day's peak waits. Everything else stayed well below that throughout the day.
