Meet the Mobilator

"Remember" is a musical stage show aboard the Disney Adventure featuring WALL-E and EVE, alongside other fan-favorite Pixar and Disney characters. At the heart of the show's technical magic is a computer-driven mobilator — the platform WALL-E rides on throughout the performance.

What makes this piece of technology especially remarkable is that it is fully autonomous. The mobilator also features a ramp, allowing additional characters to join and move freely on the platform. To navigate the stage, it relies on a combination of LIDAR, cameras, and wheel odometry to determine its precise position at all times.
