The New Fantasmic! Schedule

Beginning August 23, 2026, Disney is moving Fantasmic! earlier by 30 minutes at Walt Disney World's Disney's Hollywood Studios. Here's what the updated schedule will generally look like:

• Select two-performance nights: 8:30 p.m. and 10:00 p.m.

Prior to the change, Fantasmic! runs at 9:00 p.m., with a second performance at 10:30 p.m. on nights when two shows are offered. Both performances are shifting forward by half an hour. What This Means for Your Hollywood Studios Day

Thirty minutes might not sound like much, but at a theme park, those minutes add up fast.

Fantasmic! takes place inside the large Hollywood Hills Amphitheater, and Disney encourages guests to arrive early — the theater opens as early as 90 minutes before showtime. In practical terms, guests aiming for the 8:30 p.m. performance will likely want to start making their way toward the theater around 7:30 or 8:00 p.m., depending on expected crowds and how important their seating location is.

Someone who previously planned to arrive for a 9:00 p.m. show around 8:30 p.m. may now want to head over around 8:00 p.m. for the 8:30 p.m. performance. That effectively means 30 fewer minutes for a final ride, dinner, shopping, or simply exploring the park before settling in. When wait times are long, half an hour can easily be the difference between squeezing in one last attraction and heading straight to the amphitheater.
