If you're a Disney Vacation Club member, you already know the commitment that comes with ownership — annual dues, point allocations, and the kind of loyalty that brings families back to Walt Disney World year after year. Disney's Welcome Home Weeks is the company's way of acknowledging that dedication, and this year's edition carries extra meaning: it also marks 35 years of Disney Vacation Club.

Welcome Home Weeks kicked off on July 22 and runs through August 26, 2026, exclusively for eligible DVC members with a Walt Disney World stay during that window. Decorations are already up in DVC resort lobbies, brochures are available at DVC desks throughout the property, and the full lineup of experiences is now confirmed. Here's everything you need to know before you arrive.

The Dining Discounts Are the Real Headliners

The most financially significant perk is up to 40% off food and non-alcoholic beverages at select table-service restaurants, available Mondays through Thursdays. Here's the full breakdown:

  • Hollywood and Vine at Hollywood Studios — 40% off breakfast, lunch, and dinner
  • Tusker House Restaurant at Animal Kingdom — 40% off lunch and dinner
  • Biergarten Restaurant at EPCOT — 40% off lunch
  • Tiffins Restaurant at Animal Kingdom — 40% off dinner
  • Coral Reef Restaurant at EPCOT — 40% off dinner
  • Garden Grill Restaurant at EPCOT — 40% off lunch and dinner
  • Whispering Canyon Cafe at Wilderness Lodge — 40% off brunch and dinner
  • Trattoria al Forno at BoardWalk — 40% off breakfast and dinner
  • Crystal Palace at Magic Kingdom — 20% off
  • Be Our Guest Restaurant at Magic Kingdom — 20% off

For members planning signature dining during their visit, booking Monday through Thursday and choosing from this list could mean meaningful savings on an already substantial meal bill.

Morning Mixers, Character Experiences, and Disney Springs Treats

The Welcome Home Wakeup gives members a morning social at two locations. Top of the World Lounge — a Villain's Lair in Bay Lake Tower at the Contemporary — runs Fridays and Saturdays from 9 to 11 a.m. Reunion Station at Wilderness Lodge runs Saturdays and Sundays during the same window. Coffee and a morning treat in a members-only setting is the kind of experiential perk that's hard to put a price on.

Character experiences are scheduled at Atlantic Dance Hall at the BoardWalk from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on multiple dates: July 22, July 27 and 28, August 4 and 5, August 12 and 13, August 17 and 18, and August 26.

Disney Springs is also getting in on the fun with complimentary treats on specific days of the week:

  • Eet by Maneet Chauhan — complimentary desi ice cream on Thursdays, no purchase required
  • Everglazed — complimentary Welcome Home Weeks donut on Wednesdays, no purchase required
  • The Polite Pig — complimentary Hop Salt Pretzel with a specialty drink purchase, plus 15% off food and non-alcoholic beverages on Mondays
  • City Works — complimentary slushie with an entrée purchase on Tuesdays
  • Frontera Cocina — complimentary half-and-half appetizer with a Welcome Home Weeks drink purchase on Fridays

Free Ice Cream Across Walt Disney World

Complimentary ice cream is available for DVC members at multiple locations across the property on specific days and times:

  • Magic Kingdom — Tomorrowland Terrace, Wednesdays starting July 22, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
  • Hollywood Studios — Tower of Terror Courtyard, Mondays and Tuesdays starting July 27, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
  • Animal Kingdom — Upper Bradley Falls between Africa and Asia, Thursdays and Fridays starting July 23, 1 to 4 p.m.
  • EPCOT — Canada Pavilion near the DVC Discovery Desk, Tuesdays and Thursdays starting July 23, 1 to 4 p.m.
  • Disney Springs — Gateway to Discovery, Mondays and Fridays starting July 24, 1 to 4 p.m.
  • Saratoga Springs — Preview Center, daily, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  • Riviera Resort — The Eventi Room, daily, 1:30 to 5:30 p.m.

Complimentary candy is also available during Movies Under the Stars at ten DVC resorts, and complimentary Welcome Home Weeks buttons are available at DVC member lounges and discovery desks while supplies last.

A Contest Worth Entering

One more perk that extends beyond the parks: DVC members can enter a contest for a chance to join the 2027 Disney Vacation Club Member Cruise, sailing the Pacific Coast from San Diego. Entry is open through August 26.

For any DVC member with a stay booked between now and August 26, the Welcome Home Weeks lineup is a genuine reward for the long-term commitment that defines membership. To access any of the listed benefits, members should present a valid digital DVC Membership Card along with a corresponding photo ID.
