A Multi-Year Refurbishment in Full Swing

The multi-year refurbishment effort currently underway in phases across both the Yacht Club and Beach Club is set to affect nearly every part of these beloved Deluxe hotel destinations. Walt Disney World has crews working on the exteriors of these two connected EPCOT-area resorts right now, and the project timeline runs all the way to 2027. Rather than scaffold the entire perimeter at once, Disney is moving section by section — which means some areas already look fresh and renewed while others are still tucked behind equipment and tarps.

Disney's own construction bulletin is upfront about the impact: guests may see and hear construction in progress during daytime hours. According to Disney, work at the Yacht Club is expected to wrap by late 2026, while the Beach Club will remain under construction until late 2027.
