Late Spring 2027 Reopening

Neil Patrick Harris also revealed that the reimagined Carousel of Progress will reopen in late Spring 2027. The beloved attraction closed in early July at Magic Kingdom to make way for this massive update — meaning guests will have less than a year to wait before stepping back (and forward) in time once more.

The upcoming 2027 version will completely phase out the long-running late-19th- and early-20th-century eras that have framed the family's journey for decades.
