Calling all believers! Disney Cruise Line has officially revealed its next ship — the Disney Believe — and we have all the details on the incredible venues, entertainment, dining, and staterooms coming when she sets sail on her maiden voyage on December 18, 2027, from Port Everglades in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
Aboard the Disney Believe, Walt Disney's legacy of curiosity and discovery will take center stage, celebrating stories and characters who believe in themselves, in their dreams, and in the promise of a better tomorrow. The ship will feature a mix of brand-new offerings alongside returning guest-favorite venues, all backed by the unrivaled service of Disney Cruise Line's crew members.
Do You Believe in the Power of Nature?
What can we say except — you're welcome! The heart of the Disney Believe will be the Grand Hall, inspired by Disney Animation's Moana and its Pacific Islands setting. Expect ocean-hued carpets, a ceiling scattered with constellations, and railings inspired by designs found within Moana's skirt. The showstopping centerpiece? A chandelier modeled after the ocean's fluid movement, with the heart of Te Fiti hidden within.
Do You Believe in the Impossible?
Step into the storybook world of Wishing Well, a lounge inspired by the classic 1937 Disney Animation film Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. The space features three distinct settings: a bar evoking the film's gothic castle complete with a beautiful stained glass art piece, a seating area styled as an enchanting castle courtyard under a canopy of white blossoms and red apples with Snow White's colors woven into the furnishings, and a performance area with hand-carved wood framing that pays homage to the Seven Dwarfs' cottage.
Do You Believe in Each Other?
Get ready to "try everything" at Gazelle, the Disney Believe's entertainment hub inspired by the bustling metropolis from Disney Animation's Zootopia films. By day it's a family fun destination for guests of all ages; by night it transforms into an adult-exclusive entertainment venue. And here's a first for Disney Cruise Line: Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde will make their DCL debut in a brand-new family show where guests can put their detective skills to the test to help the duo solve their latest case.
Do You Believe in Yourself?
Those with a sweet tooth are in for a treat at Inside Out: Joyful Sweets. This returning favorite will feature sculptural additions from Disney and Pixar's Inside Out 2, including Anxiety, Envy, and the "Sense of Self" structure, alongside beloved characters Joy and Sadness. Drawing inspiration from the Emotions' headquarters, the venue will offer nearly 20 flavors of gelato and ice cream, daily handcrafted gelato specials, and a colorful lineup of signature sweets.
Do You Believe in the Power of Music?
Get ready for a festive family feast at Oaken's Table: A Frozen Family Feast, a brand-new restaurant on the Disney Believe. Nestled deep within a forest, guests will discover Oaken and his cousins in a Scandinavian Summerhaus courtyard. Throughout the meal, you'll be invited to join Oaken's family for rousing, reimagined renditions of famous tunes from the Frozen soundtracks, along with special appearances from Frozen friends like Anna and Kristoff — all part of a brand-new, untold chapter in the Frozen story.
Do You Believe in the Voice Within?
Just off the Grand Hall, your ocean journey continues — this time under the sea — at Sea Notes, an iridescent piano lounge inspired by Ariel's grotto from Disney Animation's The Little Mermaid. A pearlescent piano, described as one of Ariel's forgotten treasures, sits at the center of the space. Expect nostalgic melodies and an expertly crafted menu of cocktails and non-alcoholic sips in a setting that blends contemporary design with the whimsical artistry of the beloved film.
Do You Believe in a Place for Grown-Up Dreamers to Dream?
Be prepared for time to stand still at Skygazers, an observatory-themed pub that welcomes dreamers and wish-makers beneath the evening sky. Inside this astronomer's laboratory you'll find bookshelves filled with astronomical instruments, celestial maps, and hidden props nodding to classic Disney stories where characters wished upon stars. The thematic menu features custom-made craft brews, specialty cocktails, and light bites — plus live sports broadcasts for good measure.
Do You Believe in the Power of Optimism?
Sweet dreams await in the Disney Believe's staterooms, which feature all-new papercut-style artwork evoking classic Disney stories. Rooms draw inspiration from characters and stories including Moana, Coco, and Inside Out. Concierge guests will enjoy theming inspired by either the Disney Animation classic Peter Pan and the whimsical world of Neverland, or — in several special oceanview rooms above the bridge — the playful spirit of Pixar's Toy Story.
As with every Disney Cruise Line ship, staterooms on the Disney Believe will be spacious, comfortable, and family-functional. All staterooms feature ample storage, with most also offering the signature split-bath concept, roomy closets, and elevated bed frames with generous under-bed space. Most staterooms include a sweeping ocean view, with 70 percent featuring a spacious verandah and more than 450 connecting doors to accommodate larger families.
The ship will also be home to two new royal suites: the Royal Reef Suite, themed after The Little Mermaid, and the Royal Rose Suite, inspired by Beauty and the Beast. Each incorporates elegant designs with nods to both classic films throughout.
Exclusive to the Disney Believe is the Believe Tower Suite — a one-of-a-kind, two-story suite for dreamers that sleeps eight. Drawing inspiration from Magic Kingdom Park, each of its rooms is modeled after the park's different themed lands. Situated in the forward funnel, the suite features fireworks- and balloon-inspired light fixtures and a magical art piece depicting Cinderella Castle.
Do You Believe in Dreams?
The hit show "Tangled: The Musical" — previously seen on the Disney Magic — joins the Walt Disney Theatre lineup on the Disney Believe, complete with a reimagined set design and special effects. Guests will join Rapunzel and her friends on a thrilling journey featuring the beloved songs from the film brought to life on stage.
Do You Believe in Miracles?
Here's something truly special: the very first stage adaptation of the Academy Award®-winning Disney Animation film Encanto will debut exclusively on the Disney Believe in the Walt Disney Theatre. "Disney Encanto" will follow Mirabel on her quest to save her loved ones and their magical home. The production will shine with vibrant costuming, scenic set design, and a joyful fusion of traditional dance styles reflecting the diverse, tropical landscape and rich cultures of Colombia. And yes — we can finally talk about Bruno! Disney Legend Lin-Manuel Miranda's hits from the film will be part of the show's infectious soundtrack.
Do You Believe in the Power of Coffee?
Coffee lovers will have two new hangouts to choose from: Big Hero Sips, drawing inspiration from San Fransokyo in Disney Animation's Big Hero 6, and Café Kakamora, inspired by the curious piratical coconut creatures from Moana. Both cafes will serve up a tasty selection of coffee, tea, and specialty beverages throughout your voyage.
Returning Favorites to Believe In
Alongside all the exciting new offerings, several Disney Cruise Line fan-favorites are making their return on the Disney Believe. Family dining restaurants 1923 and Worlds of Marvel will both be back, joining their sister ships within the Wish class. The Haunted Mansion Parlor also returns, ready to serve up a brand-new selection of ghoulish delights for its thirsty visitors.
In the Walt Disney Theatre, "Disney Seas the Adventure" — an original stage show for the Wish class — will dazzle audiences with performances featuring beloved Disney and Pixar characters and iconic songs.
The Disney Believe sets sail on December 18, 2027, with four- and five-night sailings to The Bahamas and Caribbean from Port Everglades in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. General on-sale bookings open October 19, 2026 — so mark your calendars, believers!
