This Disney food news is making us go un poco loco! Día de los Muertos is just around the corner, and Disneyland Resort is marking the occasion with some delicious new eats and a very special souvenir for fans of Disney Pixar's Coco.
Plaza de la Familia Gets Three New Food Items
Disney California Adventure is welcoming three brand-new menu items as part of its Día de los Muertos celebration, which runs from August 21st through November 2nd. All three items will be available at Paradise Garden Grill starting August 18th.
Nuez Gelatina Cake
First up is the Nuez Gelatina Cake — a cinnamon sponge cake topped with pecan gelatina and whipped topping. It sounds like the perfect sweet treat to enjoy while soaking in the festive atmosphere.
Marigold Margarita
Next is the Marigold Margarita, a wine-based lime margarita garnished with a marigold and finished with an orange sugar rim. It's as beautiful as it sounds!
Chilaquiles Carnitas Torta
Rounding out the trio is the Chilaquiles Carnitas Torta, packed with red chilaquiles, refried beans, avocado spread, queso fresco, pickled red onions, and a fried egg — all served with chips. A hearty, flavor-packed option for anyone looking for something savory.
The Item We're Most Excited About: The Coco Lantern Sipper
As much as we love the food, the item generating the most buzz is the brand-new Coco Lantern Sipper. This limited souvenir will be available starting September 3rd, while supplies last. A few things to keep in mind before you go:
