Must-See Confectionery Masterpieces
This is Halloween… Town! The pastry team at Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa has outdone themselves with a jaw-dropping confection inspired by Tim Burton's The Nightmare Before Christmas. Jack Skellington, Sally, and Zero are sculpted on Spiral Hill, joined by Oogie Boogie and the Mayor — and the whole creation took more than 800 hours to complete. Fit for the Pumpkin King himself!
This nightmarish masterpiece was crafted with:
- 140 pounds of fondant
- 175 pounds of chocolate
- 150 pounds of powdered sugar
- 105 pounds of rice cereal
- 38 pounds of marshmallows
Over at the Disneyland Hotel near Goofy's Kitchen, keep your eyes peeled for a sweet, 5-foot confectionery of a darling Mickey Mouse pumpkin. Can you spy all 13 hidden Mickeys?
